Atlas Horse Rug with Detachable Neck - Winter Rug
The star of the show, the main event. The Bow Horse® Atlas™ turnout rug combines 1200D ripstop waterproof, breathable polyester fabric with an anti-rub lining and your choice of filling weight/warmth. This rug was designed with ultimate adjustability, usability and comfort in mind. Featuring a fully adjustable, angled chest strap that allows the rug to be customised to multiple horse shapes and sizes. The non-static chest clip and ring allows freedom of movement and helps to distribute pressure while the shaping of the rug ensures maximum comfort and fit. These rugs come standard with a PVC covered tail cord, however connections are available to utilize leg straps if desired. Compatible liner rugs are available for purchase separately and allow additional warmth to be added to the rug for cooler weather.
A detachable neck rug is included and features our Ripple® neck technology, designed to help prevent mane loss by reducing pressure on the mane, increasing air circulation and reducing the chance of over-heating hair follicles. The neck rug is easily removed and replaced with a sturdy velcro connection and alternate fill options are available to tailor the rug to multiple weather situations.

The design of the neck rug has been a game changer for me. The only neck rug I've used that's not rubbed my horses mane. Also love the adjustability of the front chest straps. It is quick to put on and the fit overall is excellent.
So far this rug is great. The quality is amazing. I got the 0g. It's light weight, and the neck rug still reaches the back of the ears when his head is down.
I would like it to be a little longer so that the bottom of the bow horse cotton isn't exposed to the rain and get wet, but that's me nit picking. In all Bow Horse rugs are my favourite on the market!
Back in the day you went in to get an ice cream cone and you ordered a single dip. They took a dip and filled the cone and packed it and then gave you a scoop on top so actually you’re getting two scoops instead of one like you do today. You will find that two scoop service here. I made them aware of a small issue I was having and then the next thing you know I got a new blanket delivered. Class Act 🤠
absolutely the best rug, fit is perfect & love the option to add leg straps! has been on my pony in the heavy rain for a few days & he’s still completely dry underneath!
Super impressed with the Atlas rug I ordered. I had an older version of the unlined waterproof rug on one of the other horses and was pleasantly surprised to find the rug has been improved even since last time I purchased. And I loved the old version, but this is even better. The longer neck rug provides ample coverage to keep my boy cosy and warm, with enough room and great design to preserve his lovely mane. The strap across the back legs has improved clips to keep the rug nicely in place even when he has a roll-a-thon after a hose. The length is fantastic and I am a huge fan of the large tail flap. It fits beautifully. Huge fan. Well done BowHorse.
