Atlas Horse Rug with Detachable Neck - Winter Rug
The star of the show, the main event. The Bow Horse® Atlas™ turnout rug combines 1200D ripstop waterproof, breathable polyester fabric with an anti-rub lining and your choice of filling weight/warmth. This rug was designed with ultimate adjustability, usability and comfort in mind. Featuring a fully adjustable, angled chest strap that allows the rug to be customised to multiple horse shapes and sizes. The non-static chest clip and ring allows freedom of movement and helps to distribute pressure while the shaping of the rug ensures maximum comfort and fit. These rugs come standard with a PVC covered tail cord, however connections are available to utilize leg straps if desired. Compatible liner rugs are available for purchase separately and allow additional warmth to be added to the rug for cooler weather.
A detachable neck rug is included and features our Ripple® neck technology, designed to help prevent mane loss by reducing pressure on the mane, increasing air circulation and reducing the chance of over-heating hair follicles. The neck rug is easily removed and replaced with a sturdy velcro connection and alternate fill options are available to tailor the rug to multiple weather situations.

- Ruched section on top of the mane to distribute pressure evenly
- 0g filling in the ruched section to help prevent hair follicle overheating
- Elastic at the top of the neck cover to help keep the neck rug up and prevent sliding
- Velcro connection to outer rug
