All the features you love from our standard Atlas Turnout Rug, however made for wider horses!
Compared to our standard sizing these rugs have:
- Additional drop in the body and neck rug
- More space around the chest and shoulders
- Specially tailored rump
Plus all of the features of our standard Atlas Turnouts:
- 1200D breathable, waterproof polyester fabric
- Pleated Ripple neck rug to help evenly distribute pressure
- 0g filling in the pleated section to help prevent hair follicle overheating
- Anti-rub lining
- Removeable Ripple neck rug
- Adjustable, angled chest straps
- Dual surcingles
- PVC tail strap
- Leg strap connection to allow tail strap to be replaced with leg straps.
- Reflective strips on the front and tail flap
Available in a limited quantity of Navy Plaid colouring and 100g fill for the 2025 season.

Super fit, great drop and coverage. I have a very wide ASH x QH that’s bum always pokes out of rugs, meaning I need to size up, which in turn makes the rug fit too big in the chest and it’s a whole domino affect. This rug fits absolutely brilliantly in his actual size, super adjustable chest and covers in all the right spots. Can’t wait for a larger range next year!
The new Extra Wide Atlas rug looks good. The standard fit one had rubbed the shoulders of my horse. He is not a super stocky breed but a warmblood of medium build. The new rug may be a bit bigger than he actually needs but looks good done up on the tightest holes around the chest
Iam super Impressed with the fit and quality of this rug .Its the only one I have that fits him nicely. lots of chest room, no choking him when his head is down, no butt sticking out the back or belly showing.Even the neck cover fits his fat neck nicely.He is usually in 7'3 rugs but the 7" is more than enough.I hope to buy another in a different colour next winter.
Finally, a very well made, excellent quality, local option for heavy horses . The sizing on this rug is perfect for my 17.2 Percheron - chest, rump and rug length that matches his height and breadth. I was a bit uncertain about the 7ft fitting as he has been in 7ft3 in other brands but it fits very well.
Love how this rug fits. Especially the neck rug. No more rubbing out of mane.
